[Adoption of Schools/Hostels]

A CSR initiative of HGINFRA for the adoption of government schools and tribal hostels for their holistic advancement through physical infrastructure development, academic transformation and access to digital technology. The program is currently being implemented in Jaipur, Sirohi, Udaipur & Rajsamand districts of Rajasthan.

Tribal hostel transformation project is a unique holistic intervention, under HG Ki Pathshala, designed to impact the ecosystem at Tribal hostels in a multi-dimensional way to develop these residential hostels into Model hostels by building better infrastructure and creating an innovative learning ecosystem. The program is currently being implemented at four hostels in Abu Road, Sirohi, Rajasthan.

Need of Programme

  • Lack access of basic amenities in schools/Hostels.
  • Unhygienic facilities impacting the health and leading to absenteeism in schools specially among girls.
  • Irregularity of students (specially girls).
  • Lack of awareness about the benefits of using digital technology.

Our Support

  • Providing infrastructure support to the Government schools via construction of toilets and drinking water facilities.
  • Focus on key components including Infrastructure Enhancement, Ecosystem for Smart Education and Regular Intervention.
  • Developing a multi-dimensional way to develop identified Residential Hostels into Modern Hostels through better infrastructure and innovative learning ecosystem.
  • Capacity development of teachers and children through digital literacy and behavioral skills training.

Beneficiaries

Total 4,611 beneficiaries including students and staff are getting benefited through this program.
