[Adoption of Villages]

A CSR Initiative of HGINFRA to transform the villages into “Model Villages” through holistic and sustainable development backed up by futuristic and progressive skills leading to higher level of productivity and improvement in overall quality of life at the community level.

The Five key focus area of the program are infrastructure, education, health, livelihood, natural resource management. The program is currently being implemented at 5 villages in Sirohi, Udaipur & Rajsamand districts of Rajasthan.

Need of Programme

  • Around 68% of the country’s population lives in rural areas still they have lagged much behind the overall progress of the economy.
  • There is lack of infrastructural development like electricity, roads, water, irrigation, transportation etc. which needs to be addressed.
  • Majority of people in rural areas do not have access to basic necessities of life like food, health facilities, sanitation, education etc.
  • There is a need to improve the quality of human resource through literacy specially female literacy, skill development, industrial training etc.

Our Support

  • Providing the basic infrastructure facility as per the need assessment.
  • Development of Community Learning Centre(s).
  • Ensuring availability of proper sanitation and drinking water.
  • Conducting various intervention activities based on Education, Health, rural livelihood & Natural resource management.
  • Vocational trainings program for youth & women based on Hospitality, Infrastructure & cottage industry.
  • Promotion of non-conventional sources.

Beneficiaries

493 households with population approx. 2576 are getting benefited through this program.
